Community Guidelines

Last updated: 10 October 2026

MeetBites is for real people meeting in real life. These guidelines keep it a place people feel comfortable using.

Be respectful

Treat everyone the way you would want to be treated. You can say no, and you can hear no, kindly. Do not pressure, insult or keep messaging someone who has stopped replying.

Be yourself

Use your own recent photos and your real age. Do not pretend to be someone else, use another person’s pictures, or run more than one account.

No harassment or hate

We do not allow harassment, threats, stalking, bullying, or hate speech aimed at anyone because of race, ethnicity, religion, caste, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or similar traits. Unwanted sexual messages or images are not allowed.

No intimate images, no impersonation

Never share an intimate image of someone without their consent, and never pretend to be another real person. We act on these reports within 2 hours.

No spam or scams

Do not advertise, promote other services, send repeated copy-and-paste messages, or try to move people to other platforms to defraud them.

Keep private information private

Do not share someone else’s phone number, address, photos, chats or other personal details without their consent. Do not screenshot and share chats or profiles outside the app.

Never ask for money

Do not ask other members for money, gifts, loans, or financial details, whatever the reason. If someone asks you, report them.

Keep plans in public places

Plans on MeetBites should take place in public venues such as cafes, restaurants, parks or events. Do not post plans that are at a private home or that are designed to be sexual or unsafe.

Adults only

MeetBites is for people aged 18 and over. Any content involving minors is removed and reported to the authorities.

How reports and enforcement work

Our team reviews reports, and automated checks on text and photos help us catch problems early. Depending on how serious the issue is and whether it has happened before, we may:

Serious violations, such as threats, scams or anything involving minors, can lead to immediate removal. Reports are kept confidential and the person you report is not told who reported them.

We never act in secret. If we limit your account or remove something, you are told what happened and why in Settings, Account status. You can appeal there within 30 days and a person decides. You can also contact the Grievance Officer. The Terms explain the rest.

How to report and block

Open a profile, plan or chat and choose Report, then tell us what happened. To stop someone contacting you, choose Block from the same menu. Blocked members cannot see your profile or message you. If someone is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency number first. You can also use the complaint form or write to [email protected].
